About Me

I'm Martial Bouhasira. I moved to Israel from France in 1996 as a volunteer on Kibbutz Nir Eliyahu, got married, made aliyah, and today I'm a kibbutz member, married to my wonderful wife, Liza, and a father of three daughters. I come from the world of sound and music - a field I've lived in for as long as I can remember, and worked in professionally for more than 25 years.

My path started from a deep love of music and sound, which over the years turned into a profession and, later, a way of life. I studied sound and music production, worked in recording studios, recorded, mixed and produced music, and went on to manage studios and facilities and lead projects and productions from the first idea to the final result.

Over the years I got to know a large part of Israel's music scene up close. I worked alongside artists, producers and musicians, including Subliminal & The Shadow, Shai 360, Kela 6, Ethnix, Orna & Moshe Datz, Yigal Bashan, Boaz Sharabi and many others. I was part of productions and albums that became part of the Israeli musical landscape, including gold and platinum records.

One of the most meaningful chapters for me was my connection to the Israeli hip-hop scene, back when it was still in its earliest days. I met young creators, worked with them in the studio, recorded and produced, and watched up close as ideas, sketches and dreams turned, over time, into real work.

Over the years I came to understand that good sound is about far more than equipment. It requires listening, musical understanding, experience, patience, and the ability to understand what the artist is really trying to achieve. I learned to listen not only to what goes into the microphone, but to what's behind the idea.

Alongside the musical work, I built and managed entire systems - from recording studios and professional facilities to live productions and events. I learned to handle problems in real time, work with all kinds of people, manage many tasks in parallel, and make sure things simply worked.

Working with people has always been a central part of my path too. I've worked with well-known artists alongside creators just starting out, with teenagers and with people who came to learn, create and find their place in the professional world. I learned something from every one of these encounters.

Today I bring all of that with me - the technical knowledge, the musical experience, the familiarity with people and work processes, and above all the ability to take an idea and turn it into a clear process and a result you can be proud of.

I still love the moment when an initial idea starts to take shape. For me, that's where the real work begins.
